Membership Dues
Annual dues are $250 for members actively employed in law enforcement. Detention Officers employed in Wake County are eligible for full membership with full benefits. Dues for retired / disabled members will remain at $75. Dues must be submitted before September 1 of the preceding year. (e.g. 2027 dues are due September 1, 2026). Members who have not paid their dues by 10/01/26. WILL BE DROPPED FROM THE ROLLS.
Once a Member is dropped for non-payment of dues, they will need to reapply for membership AND WILL NOT BE COVERED BY ANY BENEFIT OR INSURANCE.
Online payments include automatic annual renewal. Your renewal date is based on the date your payment is processed, and future drafts will occur on or around that same date each year. Processing times may vary slightly due to weekends or bank holidays.
Members who do not wish to use automatic billing must contact the Secretary to arrange their payment and complete an updated membership form to ensure all information on file is current. Check or cash payments remain available for members choosing this option.
